Subjects Taught

I attended California State University Fullerton for my Bachelor's in Liberal Studies and Natural Sciences. Afterwards, I went on to achieve my teaching credential through CSUF and completed my student teaching through a kindergarten classroom in Orange County.

Spending three years of my college career volunteering in third grade classrooms, I also was employed through Boeing to write curriculum for science institutions in Orange County. I wrote an original marine science program for K-6 for the Ocean Institute, updated over 300 lesson plans to current NGSS science standards for the Tucker Wildlife Bird Sanctuary, and wrote an online science program for the Fullerton Arboretum tailored to third grade.

I also worked as a teacher's assistant in 3D printing and chemistry for several years in middle schools throughout Fullerton. After college, I was employed as a teacher's assistant at Irvine High School before accepting my current Kindergarten teaching position at David E Norman Elementary.

Enjoying most of my time outside, I hike regularly to various rock formations and explore underground caves. I spend my free time charting the night sky and painting trees. Dabbling in unusual activities, much of my interest lies in trying new things like archery, jiu jitsu, and glassblowing.
